Keith A. Waguespack, M.D. graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Biomedical Science. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, and completed his internship and residency at Louisiana State University - Shreveport. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Waguespack has special training in laparoscopic urological surgery, including the use of the da Vinci Surgical Robot System. As part of the USMDPCC Robotics program, he has a large experience in robotic assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy, pyeloplasty, and partial nephrectomy. He also performs a variety of minimally invasive procedures to treat kidney and bladder cancer, kidney stones, benign prostate enlargement, and incontinence.

Among his other notable recognitions, Dr. Waguespack has received the UT Southwestern Medical Student Research Forum Award, Texas A&M - Phi Kappa Phi Post Graduate Fellowship, and the GTE/Texas A&M University Student Athlete of the Year.

Professionally, Dr. Waguespack is a member of the American Urological Association, Texas Medical Association, and Dallas County Medical Society. He serves as a proctoring surgeon, helping train other physicians in robotic urological procedures.

A native of Texas, Dr. Waguespack was a varsity letterman in football while at Texas A&M. His outside interests include hunting, snow skiing, scuba diving, golf, cooking and traveling. He resides in Irving with his wife and two children.
